The first single from Reno Bo's album LESSONS FROM A SHOOTING STAR. Big rock guitars shimmer and jangle along as Bo delivers big pop melodies. The cards he's been dealt are pretty good. Full house? A flush? A straight? All of the above. The makings of a sweetheart deal. Bo is joined on this track by Jason Isbell guitarist Sadler Vaden

Jangling electric guitars, B3 organ, harmonies, double tracked melodies - all the makings of a power pop classic. It's American Rock and roll (Tom Petty, Big Star) shaking hands with the British Invasion. "The Brighter Side" co-written with Brendan Benson sounds like it could have been tracked at Ardent Studios in the 70's. If you like your rock and roll with pop hooks, this is your album.

“Put Your Foot in It” is a hand-clapping blast of psychedelic soul power. Pride is a sin, or so they say, but it ain’t pride when it’s true, and this tune is the outtasight gospel TRUTH. One bonafide hip-shaker would be enough – lord have mercy! – but good things sometimes come in pairs, and there are TWO pure jolts of groove for all y’all to dig here – “Magic Shadows” is the second half of this dynamite download, and it’s a SMOKER of epic proportions. Dare to call it a B-side and it might smack you upside the head. The Electric Joy is the group and they bring you EXACTLY what they advertise: ecstasy through voltage.

Steelism's "China Plate" (cockney rhyming slang for "mate") was inspired by Dick Dale's surf-rock and the western synth wizardry of Hugo Montenegro. Spencer Cullum Jr.'s steel guitar was played with a sitar bar for an Eastern feel while guitarist Jeremy Fetzer used three vintage Fender amps. Produced by Andrew Combs and Steelism, the track was cut to 2" tape at Nashville's Toy Box Studio through the MCI console that lived in Criteria studio from 1968–’78 (where "Hotel California" was recorded)

Combs' "Emily" was co-written with Nashville songwriter Jabe Beyer and has quickly become a live crowd favorite. Its upbeat yet laid-back J.J. Cale groove (provided by Steelism) and sing-along chorus propels a tale about a lover whose very name spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Produced by Andrew Combs and Steelism, the track was cut to 2" tape through the MCI console that lived in Criteria studio from 1968–’78 (where "Hotel California" was recorded).

The debut album from Nashville's LOS COLOGNES is full of Breezy, laid back beats, chiming guitars and mid-tempo jams. Fans of the Dead, Dire Straits and J.J. Cale will want to add this album to their collection. Vocalist Jay Rutherford's peaceful easy croon accompanies his fine guitar playing as he and the band fall into a killer groove on every track.

LOS COLOGNES' debut single has close to 4 million streams on Spotify. With its breezy, laid back groove, chiming acoustic guitars, sunny guitar hook and lyrics, the band’s sound on the single evokes the mid tempo numbers of Dire Straits, J.J. Cale and the Grateful Dead. Good luck taking this one off of ‘repeat.’

Rarely does an album title define so well the music that's tucked inside. Jones and his band are having a good time - one hell of a good time - as they shuffle and shake Americana, folk, blues and classic R&B into one mixed bag. Alabama Shakes' Brittany Howard lends a guest vocal to "Play It Loud, Ray!"

Jones toured the U.S. in an RV with his fiancee and wrote this 12 track log of travel songs. The train beats, acoustic arrangements and longing lyrics contained within this Americana, folk and blues rooted disc give you a shotgun seat view of the journey.

This ain't your daddy's country music. It's your grandaddy's. Swing beats, songs about sweet-peas, jars full of pennies and $2 suits make for one heck of a honky-tonkin' throwback record with modern bits thrown in for good measure. Hoke's flair for crafting classic melodies and his lyrical turn of phrase are all his own.

Power-pop meets blue-eyed soul on this debut from Reno Bo. Byrds/Beach Boys harmonies soar over jangling guitars. Elements of classic rock shine through, while pop guitar hooks and giant choruses are the calling card. Fountains Of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger produces one track, "Shake Me Up."
